What stays on your device

• Generator inputs. The word or name you type, your style, platform and length settings — all processed in the page. Core generator inputs are not sent to gamertaggenerator.co.uk servers.
• Favourites. Saved names live in your browser’s local storage (gtg:favourites:v1) and never leave it.
• Preferences. Your last-used generator settings and light/dark theme choice are remembered in local storage so the site restores them next visit.
• Exports. TXT, CSV and JSON exports are built in your browser and downloaded directly.

Share links

The share button copies a link that encodes your generator settings (style, platform, length and so on) in the URL. Your personal word or name is never included in that link unless you tick “Include my word in share links”. Anyone you share the link with can reproduce your settings — and, if you opted in, your word — so treat the checkbox as exactly that: an opt-in to share.

Xbox profile lookups

When you use the Xbox Gamerscore finder, the gamertag you enter is sent to gamertaggenerator.co.uk and then to the Xbox profile data provider used by the server. The lookup is used to return public profile information such as the gamertag, XUID, gamerpic and Gamerscore. The provider key stays on the server and is never sent to your browser.

The server keeps a short-lived lookup cache to reduce repeated provider requests and applies rate limits for reliability and abuse prevention. The Gamerscore finder does not require your Xbox password or Microsoft sign-in.

Accounts

There are none. No registration, no login, no password to leak. Features that need persistence use your browser’s storage and are cleared when you clear site data.

Analytics

We use optional Google Analytics 4 only after you click Allow analytics in the consent notice. It helps us understand anonymous page visits and which generator features are useful. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled.

Your generated names, seed words, favourites and exports are processed in your browser and are not sent as analytics events. If you decline, no Google Analytics request is made. You can remove your choice by clearing this site's local storage and choosing again on a later visit.

Hosting

The site runs as a Node.js web application on Hostinger: it serves the built site and the same-origin Xbox lookup endpoint. Like other web hosts, Hostinger may process request data needed for delivery, security and diagnostics, including the request time, requested resource and visitor IP address. The site does not use that infrastructure data to build user profiles. See Hostinger’s privacy policy for its processing terms.

Children

The site is a general-audience gaming-name tool and does not require an account. Do not enter passwords, email addresses, phone numbers or other private information into generator fields. The Xbox finder only needs the public gamertag you want to look up.
